What's goin' on...
Movie Nights...
Every few weeks we have movie night for the neighborhood in our backyard at dark. Bring your lawnchair if you are in the area and want to stop by. Popcorn and pink lemonade and the movie are free of charge! Movies are always family friendly and honoring to God!
Next movie night...in May! Look for us to start out the summer months with a backyard movie and snowballs!
Children's Bible Study...
Wednesdays at 4:30pm is Bible Study! We start with worship, then do some praying and testimonies, then we get into the Word. We end with prayer. Sometimes we get a call asking for prayer and we take small teams of the kids out with us when we go. Everyone who comes to Bible Study is invited to stay for supper. With God there is always enough!
Just hangin' out...
Our home is always open for kids to just hang out. We play games, play football, watch movies, do crafts, pray, worship, answer questions, or just are available to talk. Whomever is here on any given night is welcome to stay for supper. If we are home, kids are welcome!
Tutoring...
We are available to help with homework, help with projects, and have a program for learning to read. Help is available if children need it.
Library...
Our library is growing for kids of the neighborhood to check out and read good, wholesome books!
Vacation Bible School...
Every summer there are many opportunities to join us in neighborhoods around our community, New Orleans, and Mississippi as we bring the Gospel in 3, 4, or 5 day Vacation Bible Schools. We bring the Word and not a lot of extras, but God leads us to where the children are and they are hungry for Him!
This summer look for Bible Clubs in many neighborhoods around Slidell and a few other outreaches. We may be going to Mobile, AL to a trailer park full of kids who are hungry for love.
